It’s true. Working with an interior designer brings your interiors to life. Working with Sherry Hauser, ASID will do that and more!
Sherry Hauser, ASID, is an award-winning, professional interior designer with more than 30 years experience creating exquisite custom residential environments for clients in Arizona, New York and California.
Initially, Sherry specialized in fabrics and color; however, over the years she became a recognized expert on complete interior detailing, which is necessary to submit award-winning projects. Even if an award-winning interior isn’t your goal, Sherry will bring that level of quality to your project. From contemporary to southwestern, Sherry’s look has one thing in common–the rooms look inviting! Whether stimulating or restful, your surroundings should create a haven for lifelong memories.
Many of the unique homes designed throughout Sherry’s career have been recognized in the pages of national and local magazines such as BETTER HOMES & GARDENS/ KITCHENS AND BATHS, PHOENIX HOME & GARDEN, PHOENIX MAGAZINE, ARIZONA REPUBLIC, LUXE, SCOTTSDALE MAGAZINE, AZ LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE, SOURCES+DESIGN, AND AZ FOOTHILLS.
Prestigious interior design awards line her studio to include the ASID Design Excellence Awards in these categories: Residential, Office, Kitchen and Remodeling.
After achieving both B.S. and M.A. degrees from Ball State University, Sherry moved to Arizona to teach in the Paradise Valley District and then interior design for Maricopa County Community Colleges. She started her own design business nearly 30 years ago after working at both Barrow’s Design Studio and Robb & Stucky.
Supporting her profession has always been of importance to Sherry; therefore, she moved up in the ranks of professionals within the largest interior design association in the country–ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Arizona North Chapter. After passing the NCIDQ (the test used for licensing in other states), she went on to become chapter president and later won the acclaimed Designer of Distinction Award for exceptional work on a professional and community level.
Sherry sits on the Board of Phoenix College Interior Design Department, is a past board member of West Valley Fine Arts and is past president of two other community groups. She continues to walk and raise money for the 60 mile 3-day Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk.
